Keď padá hviezda tak človek si vždy niečo praje a verí, že raz sa jeho prianie splní. Minulý rok som končil svoju recenziu na Soul Dissolution – Pale Distant Light danou vetou: Slová už nevravia nič, tak stíchnite a započúvajte sa do daného albumu. Nepretieklo veľa vody v našom potoku a do mojich hnilobou zničených uší sa dostáva druhý album od danej formácie nazvaný „STARDUST“. Chalani na novom albume pokračujú tam, kde bol ukončený album „Pale Distant Light“. Žiadna drastická zmena v sounde nie je a album je koncipovaný so zámerom prepracovať kompozičný štýl a smerovanie kapely so zachovaním soundu s hudobnými postupmi. Album celkovo obsahuje len 6 skladieb, ale za seba hovorím vyzretejšie. Chytľavé riffy, ktoré sú jedným z typických znakov pre kapelu nás nesú celým albumom ako padajúci hviezdny prach. Ľudia zaslepený dogmatickými predstavami šírené stáročiami rôznymi cirkvami sa tohto prachu boja. Je to niečo nové, nepoznané a strach s neznámeho býva silnejší. Už samotný začiatok je priam famózny. Nastupujúce zvuky a melódie u mňa vytvárajú predstavu ranného prebúdzania prírody so všetkou tou krásou, ktorá dokáže vyniknúť po ožiarení prvými rannými lúčmi slnka. V tom nastane obrazne povedané rana z neba a rozbieha sa neúprosné tempo vetra nesúceho hviezdny prach, s jeho všetkými tvárami radosti, bolestí a v neposlednej rade strasťami. Riffy ako už je spomínané sú veľmi jednoduché, chytľavé a svojim donekonečna obmieňaným a točením vytvárajú neskonalé ilúzie. Jabawock je v tomto pán a jeho tvorba s melancholickými prvkami je krásna. K tomuto všetkému treba vyzdvihnúť Acharonov prejav, ktorý je typický pre zmes screaming growlingu, ale vo veľkej miere sú na albume využívané čistejšie vokály, zvýrazňujúce kvalitu albumu. Ale čo je dôležité je bubenícky post, ktorý na tomto albume zaujal jeden pán až z ďalekej Austrálie (má prsty skoro v každom lepšom blackmetalovom projekte (Norse, Somnium Nox …) a volá sa Forge Stone. Zatiaľ je len uvádzaní ako session drummer, ale uvidíme či podporí svojou prítomnosť kapelu na pódiách.

When a star falls, people usualy have a wish and we believe that once this wish will be fulfilled. Last year I finished my review for „Soul Dissolution“ album „Pale Distant Light“ which a sentence: „Words do not say anything anymore so be quiet and listen to the album.“ Not much time passed and the second album „STARDUST“is flowing through my years. Soul Dissolution continue where the last album „Pale Distant Light“ was finished. There is no drastic change in sound and the album is conceived with the intention of rewriting the compositional style and direction of the band, while preserving sound with musical practices. The album contains only 6 tracks and this songs are sophisticated. Catching riffs, which are one of the typical characters for the band, carry us the whole album as falling stardust. People blinded by dogmatic imagery spread in centuries by various churches are scared of this stardust. It’s something new, unrecognized, and fear of the the unknown is stronger. The very beginning of album is astonishig. Inspirational sounds and melodies make me an idea of the early waking up of nature with all the beauty that can emerge after first morning rays. In this moment a strike from heaven occurs and the wind carrying starrdust starts in brutal tempo, with all its faces of joy, pain, and last but not least, the haunt. Rifs, as mentioned above, are very simple, catchy and their endlessly changing and spinning melodies creating endless illusions. Jabawock is master and his work with melancholic elements is beautiful. All this is highlighted by Acharon’s vocal, which is typical with mix of the the screaming and growl, but he uses also clean vocals, highlighting the quality of the album. What is important for this new album – the drummer. This post is occuppied by special session drummer from Australia (he is involved in every better black metal project (Norse, Somnium Nox …) called Forge Stone. For now is this men just as a session drummer and it is questional if he decides to support group also in live concerts.
